HyperText

Hypertext is text which is not constrained to be linear. It is a text which contains references (hyperlinks) to other texts that the reader can immediately access, or where text can be revealed progressively at multiple levels of detail. "Hypertext" is also sometimes used to describe tables, images, and other content with integrated hyperlinks.
