Basic Target Types
The Basic target type performs only low level monitoring - in most cases it will only check if a connection to your server can be established without performing any additional tests. Currently you can choose between the following basic target types:
PING basic - pings the monitored target to test network status;
HTTP basic - monitors HTTP port availability;
HTTPS basic - monitors HTTPS port availability;
FTP basic - monitors FTP port availability;
POP3 basic - monitors POP3 port availability;
IMAP basic - monitors IMAP port availability;
SSH basic - monitors SSH port availability;
Telnet basic - monitors Telnet port availability;
RTSP basic - monitors RTSP server availability.
